  19. This control panel only works with the AppleShare 3.0, AppleShare 7.1, and
  20. future AppleShare Chooser extensions under both System 6 and System 7.  It does
  21. not work with the AppleShare 2.0 Chooser extension under System 6 or the
  22. AppleShare 7.0 or 7.0.1 Chooser extension under System 7 - the configuration
  23. features just aren't there.

  25. The AppleShare Chooser extension must be in the RExtensionsS folder under
  26. System 7, or in the RSystem FolderS under System 6.

  30. The AppleShareSetup control panel lets you set or disable various options
  31. supported by the AppleShare Chooser extension.  With AppleShareSetup, you can:

  33. % Make specific AppleShare alerts Rtime-outS after a set amount of time.  For
  34. example, you can make the RThe file server is closing down in x minute(s)S
  35. alert automatically dismiss itself after 10 seconds.

  37. % Completely disable all AppleShare alerts.

  39. % Disable AppleShare RGreetingS messages.

  41. % Disable some auto-mount features.

  43. Full Balloon Help is provided under System 7.  Turn on Balloon Help (and read
  44. your AppleShare manuals) if you can't figure this control panel out.
